An open beacon message format (Frame) from Google. Fully compliant with the Bluetooth Core Specification, Eddystone works with iBeacon and Android beacons. Beacons can be secured using EIDs and managed using the Proximity Beacon API, including connecting to data in the cloud and monitoring their health. The name derives from a lighthouse located in the UK.
