A flavor of NB-IoT LTE technologies designed to connect sensor applications and devices requiring lower throughput. Cat-M1 uses 1.4 MHz of spectrum to deliver 300 kbps to 400 kbps, with potential battery life of a decade in devices. Cat 1 and Cat-M2 are additional standards in this LTE group.
