Cartapping

A play on "wiretapping," cartapping refers to the accessing of connected car information, typically for law enforcement purposes. Location data gathered by satellite radio providers, for example, have been compelled under warrant. The term was coined by University of Dayton, Ohio, law professor Susan Brenner.
