NB-IoT
Short for Narrowband IoT.
NFC
Acronym for Near Field Communication.
Narrowband IoT
A Low Power Wide Area (LPWA) technology, NB-IoT is designed to support a massive number of low throughput devices, low delay sensitivity, ultra-low device cost, low device power consumption and optimal network architecture.
Near Field Communication
Short-range wireless communication between devices, used in applications such as contactless mobile payments, transport ticketing and phone-as-key. 
Nearables
Coined by Estimote for the similarity to "wearables," the term nearables describes items with nearby tracking devices, or beacons, attached to them. 
Negawatt Power
An awareness term, coined by environmentalist Amory Lovins, for an amount of energy saved rather than energy consumed. 
Network of Things
Coined by the NIST, a NoT is another way of describing an Intranet of Things. 
NiFi
A technology originally created by the National Security Agency in 2006, NiFi is used for real-time data collection and processing. 
NoT
Acronym for Network of Things.
