An operating system developed by Google primarily for embedded devices, based on a new microkernel called Magenta. Google's Android had been implemented and promoted as a multi-purpose OS, but with Android, Chrome OS, Brillo and then Fuchsia, the case for a one-size-fits-all OS appears weakened.
